Exciting news!!!  Kevin James Bennett is coming to Michigan! and will be presenting  "The Bulletproof Bride"

 

April 27 & 28, 2013

9 am-6 pm both days

I secured the location at the Best Western Greenfield in the Packard room-Its a beautiful spot right off of 1-94 so it will be easy to get to. If you want to stay overnight they have offered us a reduced rate for the rooms. If you are flying in they have free shuttle service to and from the airport so you won't need to rent a car. This workshop is going to be so great...I have goosebumps just thinking about it all. Hope you all can make it-Great location-great knowledge-great teacher and great makeup artists...can it get ANY better???? I think not!

This 2 day workshop is geared to the makeup artist who wants to break into the bridal business or expand their bridal business. This is a hand’s on workshop and the artist will be learning bridal makeup techniques and business and marketing skills.
On the second day of the workshop Fashion Photographer “Andrew Fang” will be taking pictures of your bridal work for your portfolio.
Workshop is limited to only 24 students!!
Included in the cost of the workshop are:
Knowledge and skills of the bridal business that will help you to be a successful bridal makeup artist.

Makeup for photography and film is very different from your everyday makeup application.

"Everyday Beauty" is a pre-requisite for Makeup Artistry 101

24 hours of hands on makeup application and business skills for the aspiring makeup artist. Enrollment is limited to 6 students! 

Subjects covered in Makeup Artistry 101 include:

Color Theory-Skin Preparation-Foundation Matching and creating custom foundation colors to match skin tones 100%.  The Ins and Outs of Concealing and what products work.

Sculpting the face-How to properly highlight and contour. Making up the eyes-how to apply eye products to best a4c enhance your clients eyes. How to correctly apply blush and how to select the best products for your clients skin type and color.

How to line the lips and apply lip colors that work for your clients.

Hands on makeup application  of different ethnicities and ages of women to help build your confidence when you get a client that has a skin tone different then what you are used to doing.

The Business of Makeup-How to build a kit-how to build your portfolio-marketing yourself-how to set your rates and how to get jobs and get paid!

Certificate will be provided upon completion.

 Makeup Artistry 101 workshop is $750.00 for 24 hours of instruction
